SkyFall Thor Hammer Strike Drone Profile
The SkyFall Thor Hammer is a Ukrainian one-way strike drone with 350 km and 600 km versions, according to SkyFall figures carried by Defender Media on 1 October 2026.
SkyFall says it carries a 40 to 50 kg warhead at up to 180 km/h and costs $25,000 to $30,000 depending on configuration. SkyFall also says artificial intelligence (AI) and computer vision correct the final trajectory after an operator confirms a target.
Its stated end-of-2026 production target is 5,000 a month, while August reports gave 1,000 a month.

What the public record establishes
SkyFall says Thor Hammer is already in use at the front in Russia's war against Ukraine, according to Defender Media, UNITED24 Media and LIGA.net. No independent source confirms combat use, strike results or targets hit.
In July 2026, Voennoe Delo, citing Bloomberg, reported that an unnamed 600 km SkyFall drone was in combat testing in Ukraine, with serial production planned within the next few months. On 3 August, dev.ua reported SkyFall saying the drone was in mass production and supplied to the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
The distinction between platform identity and event attribution matters. A manufacturer page can establish what a drone is; an official military release, UN report, or conflict-monitoring source is needed to establish where it appears in a war. Where those records do not align, this page keeps the uncertainty visible.
This is a non-operational reference page. It explains the manufacturer, platform family, and public conflict record without providing instructions for building, targeting, deploying, or modifying a weapon system.
What Thor Hammer Is and Its Published Specs
The SkyFall Thor Hammer is a fixed-wing, one-way strike drone built by the Ukrainian developer SkyFall, which classes it as a mid-strike. Defender Media carried SkyFall's figures on 1 October 2026: range versions of up to 350 km and up to 600 km and a 40 to 50 kg warhead.
SkyFall also gives a top speed of 180 km/h and a cost of $25,000 to $30,000 depending on configuration.
Almost every figure in the table traces back to SkyFall's own statements to the press. No government test report or independent measurement appears in these sources, so each number is SkyFall's claim as repeated by the outlet named beside it.
Two published figures conflict across reports. Launch method differs between LB.ua's August report and the October reports. The end-of-2026 production target is 1,000 a month in the August reports and 5,000 a month in the October reports.

How Far Can the Thor Hammer Drone Fly?
SkyFall says Thor Hammer flies up to 600 km in its longer version and up to 350 km in its shorter one, according to Defender Media. Defender Media reports these as the two variants available now. The Defense Post, citing Interfax, gives the same ranges in miles: 217 miles for the 350 km version and 373 miles for the 600 km version.
It also gives both versions the same 3.5 m wingspan, 3 m length and 4,000 m maximum operating altitude.
No source here explains what the 350 km version gains in exchange for its shorter range. The sources also do not say which version the $25,000 to $30,000 price or the 40 to 50 kg warhead applies to.
SkyFall says a version with a range above 1,000 km is in development, per Defender Media, UNITED24 Media and LIGA.net. Its exact range, timeline and price are unpublished. No independent body has published a test of the 350 km or 600 km figures either.
How Thor Hammer's AI Terminal Guidance Works
SkyFall says Thor Hammer flies its route on its own while streaming live video, according to Defender Media. Near the target, Thor Hammer alerts the operator, who decides whether to engage. SkyFall says AI and computer vision then adjust the trajectory. SkyFall adds that guidance continues even if the radio and video links are fully lost.
UNITED24 Media describes the same feature as onboard AI and computer-vision algorithms that can automatically correct the final trajectory once a target is confirmed.
In SkyFall's description as reported, the software acts after the human decision, and none of these sources reports SkyFall claiming that Thor Hammer selects targets by itself. The Defense Post calls Thor Hammer an AI-enabled attack drone but does not describe the AI function beyond that label.
For navigation, SkyFall says a multi-layer system combining satellite, inertial and backup positioning keeps Thor Hammer flying under electronic warfare (EW), per Defender Media. SkyFall also says it carries daylight cameras, thermal cameras or both, and can use Starlink or other secure communications depending on the mission.
On 4 August, LB.ua reported that speed, launch method, communication system, AI-assisted guidance and engine had not been disclosed. The October reports published all of those except the engine.
Launch and Mobility
SkyFall says Thor Hammer launches by catapult or rocket booster, from fixed sites or from mobile launchers on trucks or other vehicles, according to Defender Media. UNITED24 Media and Glavnoe report the same two launch methods. SkyFall gives a deployment time of 18 minutes, which UNITED24 Media describes as about 18 minutes of launch preparation.
LB.ua's 4 August report gives a different take-off method: landing gear, which the expert quoted in that article called a less expensive solution. The two accounts may describe different configurations, but no source says so, and the 1 October unveiling reports do not mention landing gear.
The catapult and rocket-booster description from 1 October is the most recent published account.
Where Thor Hammer Sits in Ukraine's Strike Fleet
SkyFall classes Thor Hammer as a mid-strike drone, and dev.ua calls it the first mid-strike in SkyFall's line. The expert quoted by LB.ua says a 600 km range puts a drone in the deep-strike category under Ukraine's Defence Ministry classification. LB.ua's own photo captions still call it a mid-strike, so the class label depends on whose definition is applied.
Only LB.ua compares Thor Hammer with other Ukrainian strike drones. It puts Fire Point's FP-2 mid-strike at about $43,000 to $45,000, with a warhead of up to 200 kg after a July 2026 upgrade. LB.ua says that warhead is four to five times heavier than SkyFall's. LB.ua gives Fire Point's FP-1 deep-strike drone a claimed price of $55,000 to $75,000 as of July 2026.
On those claimed figures, the low end of the FP-2 price sits $13,000 above the high end of Thor Hammer's ($43,000 minus $30,000). LB.ua's expert says such comparisons must match features such as range, payload, communications and launch method, so price alone does not rank the two.
No source here compares Thor Hammer with first-person-view (FPV) drones or with the An-196 Liutyi. For side-by-side reading, the Ukrainian long-range drones list and the Russia-Ukraine war drone index collect the related profiles.
Production and Combat Use Claims
Every combat-use statement about Thor Hammer comes from SkyFall. Defender Media reports SkyFall saying the drone is already in use at the front, and UNITED24 Media, LIGA.net and Glavnoe repeat that it is in combat use. Militarnyi reports SkyFall saying the system has already shown successful combat performance, without details.
The production status shifts across reports. On 21 July, Voennoe Delo, citing Bloomberg, said the unnamed 600 km drone was in combat testing with serial production planned within the next few months. By 3 August, dev.ua reported SkyFall describing it as already in mass production, and Army Recognition's headline says mass production has begun.
The monthly target differs by report date. Militarnyi, dev.ua, LB.ua and Army Recognition give SkyFall's aim as 1,000 drones a month by the end of 2026. dev.ua quotes SkyFall: "By the end of the year, we plan to reach production capacity of up to 1,000 units per month." The 1 October reports from Defender Media, UNITED24 Media, LIGA.net and Glavnoe give 5,000 a month by year-end.
Both monthly numbers are targets stated by SkyFall. No source publishes actual monthly output or delivered quantities, and the name Thor Hammer was attached to the July drone only from 1 October onward.
How Much Does the Thor Hammer Drone Cost?
SkyFall puts Thor Hammer's cost at $25,000 to $30,000 depending on configuration, according to Defender Media. dev.ua and Militarnyi gave the same range as an estimate in August 2026, and LB.ua gave it as the claimed price. UNITED24 Media leads with the floor, writing that Thor Hammer costs "as little as $25,000", while its text gives the same $25,000 to $30,000 range.
No official contract price or government purchase figure appears in these sources, and none says which range version or warhead the price covers. LB.ua published the figure inside a wider article on how drone prices are calculated, set against Fire Point's claimed prices.
At SkyFall's 5,000-a-month target and $25,000 to $30,000 a unit, a month of output would come to $125 million to $150 million. At the earlier 1,000-a-month target, it would come to $25 million to $30 million. Both totals are arithmetic on claimed figures, and no source reports actual spending.
Who Makes the Thor Hammer Drone?
Thor Hammer is made by SkyFall, a Ukrainian drone developer whose other products, per dev.ua's headline, include the P1-SUN and Vampire. SkyFall says it develops core electronics in-house and that its research and development (R&D) team has started developing its own engines for mid-strikes, per Defender Media.
Militarnyi and dev.ua report SkyFall saying it has signed contracts with international partners to deliver the systems to the Ukrainian Defense Forces. Neither outlet names the partners.
Separately, Voennoe Delo, citing Bloomberg, reports that SkyFall and British partner Skycutter won the latest round of a Pentagon drone competition, bringing an order for more than 2,500 drones.
Voennoe Delo does not say whether that order involves the 600 km drone. dev.ua reported in August that SkyFall planned an official release revealing the drone's name, and the Thor Hammer name appeared in the 1 October reports.
What Is Not Published About Thor Hammer
SkyFall has not published Thor Hammer's engine type or make, endurance, fuel or battery type, or empty and takeoff weight in any source here. Army Recognition notes that SkyFall has not said whether the 40 to 50 kg figure covers the full warhead assembly or only the explosive filling.
Independent confirmation is missing for combat use, strike results, range and monthly output. Bloomberg's original 20 July 2026 article and the Interfax report cited by The Defense Post are known only through the outlets that quoted them. Army Recognition's full text and publication date are unconfirmed.
